Introduction

Your day begins like any other until a ‘CALL’ or ‘KNOCK’ changes your world forever.

A tidal wave of shock and grief pulls you under. It is hard to breathe, it is dark, you cease to function normally. Yet others expect you to function, to make decisions and to answer questions. Nope, not today! Instead, you become driven to find out what really happened. Instantly your priorities shift from daily living to pursuing justice for your loved one. You change. You become your own private investigator who must push down immense grief. It should not be this way.

This website is for you. It is what I needed but it did not exist. I am sharing the information sources I discovered as I struggled to understand the cause of my daughter’s death. It took 5 months for NC officials to determine Sophia was poisoned by fentanyl. It was enough fentanyl to kill 4 people! In the year following Sophia’s death, I sought information, support, and justice. I got 2 out of 3.

It is my hope these resources will get you 3 out of 3! Soon we will meet in person to hug, weep and fight!

TOGETHER WE WILL:

  • Build a network of North Carolinians in all 100 counties
  • Become one powerful voice demanding justice and change
  • Shine a bright light on fentanyl by saying fentanyl out loud without shame
  • Save some else’s life so their family does not need this website

ONWARD!
